Ahad Hassan

I'm a junior at NYU studying Information Systems and Technology, with a minor in Math, graduating in spring 2028.

I previously co-founded Neurobane, a neurodiagnostics company applying neuroimaging and machine learning to psychiatric diagnosis. My work there was primarily go-to-market and business development. I held 100+ discovery calls with clinicians, hospital administrators, and telehealth providers; wrote the market analysis that informed our pricing and go-to-market strategy; managed hardware vendor selection and negotiation; and built the financial model, cost structure, and unit economics. I went door to door to clinics across Brooklyn and lower Manhattan to find our early adopters, and I organized events Neurobane hosted for a16z's NY Tech Week.

I also ran our fundraise. I worked the investor pipeline end to end, from 344 outreaches to 46 meetings to 14 closed checks, and we raised over $400,000 from investors and private grants. I owned the investor materials and most of our direct investor communication, and I gave our keynote at XPANSE Abu Dhabi to roughly 5,000 investors, scientists, and Nobel laureates.

Outside of that I build. I write Python automation for problems I run into myself, mostly tools that pull scattered public data into something structured and usable, including prospect lists I use for my own outreach. I also create video games for fun using C++ in Unreal Engine.

Areas of focus include go-to-market strategy, business development, partnerships, outbound sales, market research, pricing, vendor negotiation, capital raising, client relationship management, go-to-market engineering, and Python and Clay automation.
